Scuffs, dents and cracks

Bumper Repair

Scuffed, pushed-in or cracked bumpers repaired instead of replaced, wherever the damage allows it.

01 / What this involves

Repair first. Replace only when it is the right call.

A bumper can look simple from the outside while clips, sensors and paint decide what the repair actually involves. Most cosmetic damage can be repaired for less than a replacement. A 15-minute look at the car tells you which side of that line yours is on.

What sits behind a bumper cover

Modern bumpers are assemblies, not panels. A good inspection checks the parts a photo can never show.

Sensors and cameras

Park-assist and driver-aid hardware often mounts inside the cover. Whether it survived decides part of the job.

Clips and mounts

Broken tabs and mounting points can turn a cosmetic repair into a replacement conversation.

Paint and material

Flexible plastics take paint differently than steel. Finish depth and any prior repair shape the method.

The structure behind it

Absorbers and reinforcement bars sit behind the cover. Damage there is a safety question, and we will say so.

Bumper damage we repair

  • Scuffs and scrapes
  • Pushed-in corners and shallow dents
  • Small cracks in the cover

What can change the plan

  • Damaged sensors or mounts may mean replacement
  • Large cracks or missing sections usually do too
  • Color and finish work are priced after we see the car
